The descriptions below outline the steps involved in creating a New Panel Kit. No special construction knowledge is required. Any competent builder possesses the necessary skills. At the same time, special attention must be paid to the assembly process, inspection scheduling and inclusion of special attachments and fastenings.

To start, the New Panel Kit design team does the engineering and layout  planning to interpret your  plans in terms of structural insulated panel  construction.

Panels  are fabricated in our Englewood facility, pre-cut and  laid out on the  factory floor. Each piece is ensured to fit, once it  arrives on your  job site.

Once  the foundation is ready, your kit is delivered to the site,  ready for  assembly. Whether the house is built on a concrete slab or on  an NPK  Floor System, the walls and roof get stood up in a matter of a  few  days.

These  images show the panels fitted over the bottom plate, with  custom  Z-flashing and keyed together with pressure-treated lumber.

Once the walls have been erected, a ridge beam can be installed. Then the roof panels are flown in and fastened.

And, when all the panels have been screwed and fastened as per  engineering  specifications, the shell is ready for windows, doors and  roofing.
